Compliant with the national environmental protection standard "HJ 1077-2019 Determination of fixed source exhaust gas, oil fume and oil mist by infrared spectrophotometry"
2. Technical principle:
According to the national standards GB16488-1996 and HJ637-2012, oil substances in water are extracted using tetrachloroethylene, and then impurities and moisture are isolated using anhydrous sodium sulfate to separate the oil and tetrachloroethylene solution, and the total oil content of the extract is determined. At the same time, the extract can be adsorbed with magnesium silicate, and after removing polar substances such as animal and vegetable oils, petroleum can be determined. The total extract and petroleum content were calculated based on the absorbance A2930, A2960, and A3030 at spectral bands with wave numbers of 2930 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH2 group), 2960 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH3 group), and 3030 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in aromatic ring), respectively. The content of animal and vegetable oils is calculated based on the difference between the total extract and petroleum content.
Environmental monitoring systems are used in testing rooms and laboratories for petrochemical, hydrological and water conservancy, water supply companies, sewage treatment plants, thermal power plants, welding materials, steel enterprises, scientific research and teaching in universities, agricultural environmental monitoring, railway environmental monitoring, automobile manufacturing, marine environmental monitoring, transportation environmental monitoring, environmental research, etc.
